Thank you for choosing First Step Biology. We are committed to providing high-quality educational content for nursing and life science entrance exams. Because our products are digital in nature, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.

1. Cancellations

• Course Subscriptions: Since our courses provide immediate access to digital content, videos, and PDF notes, a subscription or course purchase cannot be cancelled once the payment is processed and access is granted.
• Accidental Purchases: If you accidentally purchase the same course twice using the same account, please contact us within 24 hours with proof of both transactions for a resolution.

2. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the content (videos, mock tests, and downloadable notes) provided by First Step Biology, we generally operate under a No Refund policy. Once a user gains access to the intellectual property of the course, the service is considered "consumed."

Exceptions for Refunds: We only consider refund requests under the following specific circumstances:

• Technical Failure: If a technical glitch on our platform prevents you from accessing the course content entirely, and our technical team is unable to resolve the issue within 7 business days of your report.
• Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same course due to a payment gateway error.
• Course Non-Delivery: If the course you purchased is not assigned to your dashboard within 48 hours of a successful payment.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

• Change of mind after purchasing the course.
• Incompatibility with your personal device (please ensure your mobile device meets the requirements for our app before purchasing).
• Dissatisfaction with the teaching style or curriculum (we encourage users to view demo videos available on our website or app before purchasing).
• Partial completion of the course.
• Failure in exams (ANM/GNM, WBJEEB, etc.) after taking the course.

4. Refund Process

If you meet the criteria for an exception:

1. Submit a formal request to our support email (support@firststepbiology.in) or via the "Contact Us" section.
2. Include your registered Email ID, Mobile Number, and Transaction ID.
3. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days and credited back to the original payment source.

5. Course Access & Expiry

Each course has a specific validity period (e.g., until the date of the 2026 Nursing Admission exam). Once the validity expires, access to the videos and notes will be automatically revoked. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the validity period.

6. Policy Changes

First Step Biology reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page and our official website firststepbiology.in.
